Young Men's Mentoring

Helping young men grow into healthy, faith-filled leaders.

Age-appropriate mentoring and discipleship groups where young men can ask honest questions, build character, learn the way of Jesus and be supported by trained, trusted mentors.

Program format

Young men meet in small mentoring and discipleship groups over a season. Groups combine honest conversation, Scripture, prayer and practical leadership — giving young men space to grow in identity, character and faith.

  • Small groups led by trained, trusted mentors
  • Honest conversation, Scripture and prayer
  • Character, identity and leadership development
  • Service and practical leadership opportunities

Age separation

Groups are age-appropriate and kept separate so conversations stay relevant and safe. We run groups for young men aged 13–18 and for young adult men aged 18–25, with content and leadership suited to each stage.

Parent consent

For anyone under 18, parent or guardian consent is required before participation. Parents receive clear information before a group begins and can ask questions at any time. See our Parent Information page for what to expect.

Safeguarding & mentor screening

  • Mentors complete screening, safeguarding and onboarding
  • Valid Working With Children Check for all mentors working with under-18s
  • Groups are age-separated and appropriately supervised
  • Clear boundaries and a code of conduct for mentors and participants

Authority House provides mentoring and formation, not counselling or crisis support. Where specialised support is needed, we help connect people with appropriate professional services.
